Beorn’s Bark Bus

This Week On Beorn’s Bark Bus

The Bark Bus is rolling full steam ahead! Here’s what the coming week looks like:

  • Thursday (Sept 4): Book now! Great day for first-timers or regular riders!

  • Friday (Sept 5): Foster Friday — one foster dog rides free, plus we still have open seats for all of our regulars.

  • Monday (Sept 8): Mini Mischief Monday — a great day to book your little dog. We have small dog activities planned especially for them every Monday!

Want to secure a spot? Just reply to this email and we’ll pencil your dog in! If you need help on a weekend, just inquire and we will see if we can be there!

Fig - Dog of the Week

Dog of the Week

Meet Fig, our Dog of the Week!

Fig is a golden retriever through and through — friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to make a new best friend. Whether it’s people or dogs, Fig greets everyone at the park with a big tail wag and a happy smile. True to golden form, he’s never short on energy, and loves a to chase a ball.

We love having Fig’s sunny personality on the bus — he makes every ride feel like a rolling party!

Special Happenings

Mini Mischief Mondays
Every Monday is all about the little guys! Our under-30lb crew gets their own park adventure, with plenty of zoomies, chase games, and cuddle breaks. Mini Mischief Mondays are the perfect way for small dogs to play safely with friends their own size — without getting lost in the shuffle of the big dogs.

Foster Fridays
We’re kicking off a brand-new tradition on the Bark Bus — Foster Fridays! Each Friday, we’ll reserve one open seat or two for a foster dog to ride for free. It’s our way of supporting rescues and shining a spotlight on dogs who are still looking for their forever homes.

If you foster — or know someone who does — we’d love to hear from you! Reach out and let’s get these amazing dogs out on an adventure, while helping spread the word about adoption.

A Tip For Dog Parents

Keep Minds Active, Not Just Paws

Dogs need more than physical exercise — mental stimulation is just as important. Try:

  • Short training sessions with treats or praise

  • Puzzle toys or snuffle mats to challenge their problem-solving skills

  • Hiding small toys or treats around the house for a fun “treasure hunt”

Even 10–15 minutes a day of brain games can help prevent boredom, reduce anxiety, and keep your dog happy and well-behaved.
