Beorn’s Bark Bus
The Week On Beorn’s Bark Bus
What a week! We had the joy of welcoming seven new dogs to the adventure bus:
Raven, Ollie, Eggs, Olive, Giraffe, Jarvis, and June!
Each one climbed aboard for their very first ride, and it was a blast watching them explore, play, and fit right into the Bark Bus crew. These fresh faces made last week especially lively, and you’ll see their highlights on our socials if you missed the action.
We also kept up our regular daily dog field trips Monday–Friday, with small groups and our signature 1:3 staff-to-dog ratio. The bus was buzzing with energy from start to finish.
Dog of the Week
Meet Thor, the adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He might not carry a hammer, but he does have a superpower—stealing hearts. Thor follows Dina everywhere on the bus and at the park, always eager to be right by her side. His sweet nature and loyal spirit made him the star of last week’s rides.

Special Happenings
Mini Mischief Mondays
Small dogs, big fun! Mondays are set aside for dogs under 25 lbs to enjoy field trips in a gentler, smaller group. It’s the perfect way for our tiniest adventurers to romp, sniff, and socialize without the chaos of larger dogs.
Foster Fridays
Every Friday we reserve a “Big Hearts” seat for a local rescue dog to ride free. It’s a chance for foster dogs to stretch their legs, build confidence, and meet new friends while they wait for their forever home. Have a foster we should connect with? Let us know—we love building new partnerships.
Community Spotlight
Canine-Con: Wicked Fur Good is coming up this Saturday, September 20, from 8–11 AM at Jefferson L. Sugg Farm Park in Holly Springs. This dog-friendly festival brings together local vendors, food trucks, and rescue groups for a morning of community and fun. It’s the perfect chance to browse dog-centric goods, meet adoptable dogs, and enjoy a lively outing with your own four-legged friend.
Behind The Scenes
You’ve already met some of the family behind Beorn’s Bark Bus—Maria and Ryan—who help keep everything running smoothly on and off the bus. This week we’re excited to share that another family member, Hannah, will also be joining the crew from time to time. She’s just returned to Raleigh after spending four months away for work, and we’re thrilled to have her back in town. Hannah’s energy and love for dogs make her a perfect fit on board, and we can’t wait for you (and your dogs) to get to know her.

First Ride Is Risk-Free
We’ve loved welcoming so many new dogs through our introductory free first ride offer, but as of this week that promotion has ended.
Going forward, we’ve adopted a new risk-free policy: Your dog’s first ride will be billed as normal, but if we determine they aren’t a good fit due to temperament, there will be no charge for that ride.
This way every dog gets a fair chance to try the Bark Bus, and you can book with confidence knowing there’s no risk if it doesn’t work out.
